“Raising Resilient Children and Adolescents”

Piedmont Parents Network, along with the Parents Clubs of PMS and PHS, and the Wellness Center, are proud to present Dr. Robert Brooks, author of “Raising Resilient Children and Adolescents”. 
 
Dr. Brooks will outline an approach to help children and adolescents deal more effectively with stress and pressure in order to be more resilient.  He will provide specific strategies for nurturing self-discipline, responsibility, caring, hope and resilience in our children.   This program will be May 3 at 7:00p in the PMS Multi-purpose Room.  Suggested donations of $10 at the door, all proceeds will benefit the Wellness Center.  RSVP to Kathy.wheadon@gmail.com.  This program is open to all, however reservations are strongly recommended.
 
Dr. Brooks is one of today’s leading speakers on the themes of resilience, self-esteem, motivation, and family relationships. During the past 30 years, Dr. Brooks has presented nationally and internationally to thousands of parents, educators, mental health professionals, and business people with a message based on encouragement, hope, and resilience. He is renowned for the warmth and humor he uses to bring his insights and anecdotes to life.
