The 46th Annual Piedmont Bird Calling Contest

Piedmont, CA – Piedmont High students are making preparations for the 46th Annual Piedmont Bird Calling Contest.

This year’s contest will take place on Friday, May 13th, at 4PM in the Alan J. Harvey Theater, located on the Piedmont High School campus, 800 Magnolia Avenue, Piedmont, California. Tickets are $15 general seating and $10 student seating. Purchase tickets on-line at www.piedmont.k12.ca.us/phs/. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the box office on the day of the event.

Since 1963 students from Piedmont High have carried on the tradition of competing for the title of best bird caller. In addition to bragging rights, the top three finishers in the competition will be heading to New York where they have once again been invited to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman.
